A little about me

Hi, I’m Trisha, the artist behind Bushlight.

I’m a self-taught watercolour artist living in Far West NSW. A lot of what I paint comes from the things around me, animals, gardens, wildflowers and everyday life in the bush.

I started Bushlight after becoming a mum, as a creative outlet and a way to make time for something I loved. It started simply as me sharing my paintings and has slowly grown from there.

I love creating pieces that capture the little things I find beautiful, with a bit of personality and fun mixed in too. I’m still learning as I go and figuring out my own style, which is a big part of why I enjoy it.

Here you’ll find my original watercolours, fine art prints and commissions, all painted from my home in the bush.
